Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by selling services and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Your Specific Duties In This Role Will Include

  • Create, implement and manage the company's marketing and sales strategy to grow sales pipeline
  • Take a leading role in community networking to expand sales pipeline
  • Respond to job leads in a timely manner 
  • Managing the CRM and Marketing campaign
  • Making outbound calls to potential customers. 
  • Utilizing our dispatching and schedule management software
  • Returning customer calls as needed and following up with past customers
  • Performing paperwork and filing duties
  • Assist in solving operational issues as they arise to ensure a smooth customer journey
Specific Qualifications For The Role Include

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of administrative assistant/scheduling experience
  • Comfortable with sales
  • Adaptive to technology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid typing skills; ten-key skills, a plus
  • Great prioritization skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Sales and/or Marketing – a basic understanding of sales and marketing and the differences between the two, a plus 
  • Call center experience, a plus
  • Past use of sales scripts, a plus

Work Hours & Benefits

Ace Handyman Miami's hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. We are closed on Federal Holidays.

Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 with commission structure.

The Craftsmen who represent the Ace Hardware Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name. Ace Handyman Services’ work itself is often indoors in temperature-controlled environments, and is primarily of lighter-duty than new construction projects.  There are Franchise Owners and Office Managers to assist with the day-to-day operations and administrative side of the business allowing our Craftsmen to focus on the tasks at-hand and provide our customers with professional services that delight our customers.  Our Franchise Owners are successful, business-savvy individuals, who are ethical and treat their Staff like Family. The safety and well-being of TEAM members is a top priority. Many of our Craftsmen are former business owners themselves and after working for an Ace Handyman Services local office, even for a short time, they have no desire to be out on their own or operating their small businesses any longer.
